Miami Worldcenter

By Samir Patel on January 29th, 2009

While I was doing some research tonight I stumbled across the redeveloped website of the Miami Worldcenter. Along with the updated website was some brand new renderings and animations of what the project is envisioned to become. I truly hope this developer follows through with the development. It will bring a great amount of jobs, people and money to the area. This page will become the permanent page for all information I collect about the Miami Worldcenter. For now here is the video I found:

In November of 2008 the Miami City Commission approved special district zoning for Miami Worldcenter, which is being marketed as one of the largest urban renewal projects in the country. The developers of the project – Art Falcone, Marc Roberts and Nitin Motwani would like to create a massive mixed-use project in Miami’s Park West neighborhood which will encompass nearly 30 acres behind Ten Museum Park, Marina Blue, 900 Biscayne Bay and Marquis. The project will be developed in stages, with the first phases to focus on hospitality, retail and civic space.

ICON Brickell – Video

By Samir Patel on January 26th, 2009

ICON Brickell Condos … a video tour. – A few months ago I had a chance to take a sneak peak at Icon Brickell – Jorge Perez’s latest development in the Brickell area south of Downtown Miami. Icon Brickell consists of 1800 units in 3 towers. The building just opened in late 2008 and is one of the most luxurious and amenity rich buildings in all of South Florida.

While I was taking my first tour of the property I took the opportunity to shoot some video clips of the common areas. Everything in this building was developed on a massive scale. The columns in the Entry way are larger than life and cost over $10 million dollars. The pool deck is longer than a football field and the spa is the best in town.

Anyway here is the video:

EPIC Miami Condos

By Samir Patel on January 5th, 2009

EPIC Miami Condo Residences and Hotel – A few months ago I toured EPIC Condominium while the building was finishing up construction and before the Hotel opened. Below you will see the photos from that visit. EPIC is a mixed use project featuring 411 hotel rooms and suites, 360 condominium units and restaurant facilities. EPIC is located at the mouth of the Miami River on the Downtown Miami side and across from Brickell. The Hotel, managed by Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants just opened on December 15, 2008. Hotel amenities include a 13,752-square-foot wrap-around pool deck with private cabanas, fine and casual waterfront dining, a spa and fitness center operated by Exhale, a waterfront lounge, 11,000 square feet of indoor meeting space, and a private marina. All of these features are available to residents of the Condominum Residences as well. Here are the photos of EPIC Miami:

EPIC is the product of developer Ugo Columbo of the famed Santa Maria development. Among the many features of this building are a magnificent bayfront location in Downtown Miami, restaurants at ground floor and brands including Snaidero, Miele, Bosch and Subzero in all units.

As I was researching information on the Internet for this article I also found a video clip of the EPIC Hotel Lobby produced by M Silver Associates Inc.

Here is that video:

Ten Museum Park Video Tour – Line 01 Corner Unit

By Samir Patel on December 28th, 2008

Many months ago, when Ten Museum Park opened up in Downtown Miami, I went over to shoot some video clips of a few of the units. I made sure to shoot video of the “01 line” which is the South East corner unit. This line was the preferred line during the pre-construction sales period and has since remained the preferred line besides the penthouses. Soon the spa at Ten Museum Park will open, and I expect renewed interest in this building and in this line therefore I have taken the time recently to go through my archives and edit and put this video online. The East facing units at Ten Museum Park are among the most unique condominium units available on the market. Each unit is in excess of 1900 square feet and have 20-foot floor-to-ceiling windows.

Continuum South Beach Video Tour

By Samir Patel on December 28th, 2008

A few months ago, I had an opportunity to take a tour of a fully renovated unit in Continuum South Beach Condominium – South Tower. The unit I toured was listed courtesy of my very good friend Josh Stein. I have always believed that Continuum South Tower is located in the best location in all of South Florida. The building has performed consistently well in sales and resales. Newer buildings have been built in South Beach – namely Apogee and Setai South Beach but I still believe the best location/views are available at Continuum South Beach.
