It is 1460 sq ft and this unit unlike the developer units has been upgraded with Travertine floors throughout, high-end window treatments, lighting throughout and the den has been enclosed and can be used as a third bedroom. This unit was originally purchased by the seller directly from the builder for $462,000 and then upgraded. We are currently asking $399,000 for a quick sale. <p>Where to buy a 3 bedroom condo in Miami for around $200,000? We have it. Altos de Miami is on sale! Recently I took a personal tour of Altos de Miami with a close friend who is the exclusive broker for the new developer. Altos de Miami is a brand new condominium development in an area I would consider Gables/Grove. It is centrally located with easy access to Downtown Miami to the East, Coconut Grove to the South, Coral Gables to the South West and Jackson Memorial to the North.</p>
<p>I was not very familiar with the area prior to taking my tour but I discovered the location to be convenient, pricing to be much affordable and the construction to be good quality. You get floor-to-ceiling glass and terraces in most units which is great because you have panoramic views of the Downtown Miami skyline. I actually thought it would have been interesting if the building had been built many years ago residents would have been able to see all the construction cranes working vigorously on the skyline. So the building offers on-site parking, security, a small gym, on-site retail, and a huge sun deck. There is no swimming pool in the building but that is good I guess as that keeps maintenance costs low. Pricing on 1 bedrooms begins from $99,900, 2 bedrooms from $159,900, 3 bedrooms from $182,900, and two-story penthouses from $197,900. And the best part &#8211; this is developer pricing! <p> Yesterday, I had an opportunity to go over to <a href="http://www.miamicondorealty.com/paramount-bay/">Paramount Bay</a> to take a sneak peek at the development. My clients were interested in 3 bedrooms so I was able to take a look at the two ends of the building. Below you will see the photos from my trip. Please excuse the quality of some of the photographs &#8211; I had to take them with my BlackBerry Storm. I was expecting some rainfall right before I walked over to the building so I left my Nikon at home.  Well the wait is over&#8230; Here are the photos:</p>

<p><a href="http://www.paramountbaycondo.com">Paramount Bay Condo</a> is one of the last luxury condominiums to be completed in South Florida. I expect the building to officially open its doors in May/June of 2009. What makes the building stand out is the exclusive lifestyle homeowners will experience. Every single line in the building has a private elevator that makes 12 private elevators. And in addition there are 4 service elevators. There is also two swimming pools &#8211; one on the East side of the development which will give you morning sun, and one on the West side which will allow you afternoon sun. Additionally there will be an on-site diner &#8211; which will be perfect for ordering room-service and also a more formal restaurant overlooking Biscayne Bay. There will be a full service gym, spa, theater and market as well. The area surrounding the building &#8211; the Miami Arts District &#8211; is still a work in progress. I&#8217;ve lived here for the last 5 years and I&#8217;ve seen the boom and now the slow down in the rehab of the neighborhood. But business owners and residents are still moving into the area and improving it. I did not take any photos of the lobby or amenities as the building was still in the construction phase and everything was not installed yet.</p>

I was pleasantly surprised by the views offered from the building. Before my tour I expected the area to be congested with too many buildings which would all block each other's views but blockage was minimal when you are actually in the units. The lobby and common areas turned out well and the kitchens turned out better than many other developments.
